Let's just start with AWESOME! At Eddie V's, you can expect an AWESOME experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped in the door, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The hostesses gave me a friendly smile, something that isn't always the case in Scottsdale's sometimes pretentious dining scene. But Eddie V's isn't pretentious—it feels like a home away from home. From the beautifully appointed dining room to the high-class bar, you'll be sure to feel right at home. Come and experience the AWESOME atmosphere at Eddie V's today! Eddie V's is an outstanding dining experience that will leave you with lasting memories. The wait staff and management are incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, my recommendation is to start with the delicious crab-cakes. Packed with succulent crab, these are sure to tantalize your taste buds. If you're feeling a little adventurous, try the lobster tacos and be prepared to be amazed with a flavor explosion. Then, tantalize your palate with the warm goat cheese salad, followed by a glass of wine for pure dining ecstasy. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! It's time for the main course! At the suggestion of Eric, I ordered two delicious entrees - a filet cooked to perfection with two colossal grilled shrimp, and the Chilean Sea Bass, also known as the Patagonian Toothfish. The filet was so flavorful, and the shrimp were cooked to mouth-watering perfection. The Chilean Sea Bass was melt-in-your-mouth great! It was steamed Hong Kong style in a light soy broth and it was simply divine! If you're looking for a winning dish, then the Chilean Sea Bass is definitely your best bet. #wonderfulfood For dessert, it was a tough call between the Bananas Foster and the Butter Cake (flambeed table-side with butter pecan ice cream) and the Fresh Seasonal Berries. Ultimately, I chose the latter and it was absolutely divine! The freshness of the berries combined with the homemade whipped cream made it an outstanding end to a wonderful meal. If you're looking for a simple yet delicious dessert, the Fresh Seasonal Berries is definitely worth a try - you won't be disappointed! If you're looking for the perfect dining experience in Scottsdale, then look no further than Eddie V's! I've been to plenty of restaurants in the Scottsdale area and I can confidently say that Eddie V's is the best. Sweet Dee's Bakeshop #delicious , of course! This week we're highlighting what we'll call "heaven on earth." My assistant and I were traipsing around Old Town Scottsdale earlier this week, when we stumbled on what may very well be Scottsdale's best kept secret. Like an oasis in the desert, Sweet Dee's Bakeshop #awesomepastries appeared out of nowhere on E. Stetson Drive in Old Town Scottsdale, and it was love at first sight - for sure! The menu is out of this world. We tried Dee's Club and the Bacon Jam Panini and were literally floored. OMG doesn't even do these sandwiches justice. When I say the Bacon Jam Panini literally melts in your mouth, I MEAN IT! Yes, it was that good! The bread was toasted to perfection and to be honest, I couldn't get enough of this thing. After licking my plate, I felt like I had lost my best friend. It was arguably one of the best paninis I've ever eaten (or should I say, swallowed whole). I'M ADDICTED! While we're not ones to gossip, we'll make an exception in this case. . . The staff at Sweet Dee's couldn't have been friendlier and more accommodating with us. While we were indecisive at first, they patiently walked us through the menu, and we're now fans for life! Did I mention that the Bacon Jam Panini was and explosion of goodness in my mouth? Yeah!!!
